Introduction
Pure recessive charcoal chinchillas are a rare mutation and have been largely absent from the UK chinchilla show bench in the last few years. Phenotypically the charcoal colour can range from a light grey to a dark grey/brown wrap. Derivitives of the charcoal mutation are pastel (beige charcoal), charblack (TOV/Black velvet charcoal ), and charbrown (TOV/Brown velvet charcoal). © Website designed & created by Stephen Brewster.
